Activities Amongst the performed operations we can refer to drilling and installing 450 double corrosion protected anchors at the roof of Masjed-Soleiman Powerhouse cavern from platforms 15 meters above ground level in 5 months. Drilling and grouting at Shahr-Chay Dam in West Azarbaijan, Iran with problems associated with abrasive rock and shear zones creating drilling fluid outflow and huge volume of cement grout consumptions is another example. Drilling of large holes (146 mm) in reinforced concrete body of the spillways at Karkheh Dam is one of the most technical drilling jobs that can be referred to. Problems associated with limited space and access, drilling large holes, cutting steel bars and having no literally deviation in the holes are the special features of this project.
