More information about Milad Tower project;

Tehran Milad Tower

Client:  Yadman Sazeh

Engineer:  Boland payeh

Instruments:  Electrical load cells.

Milad Tower which is the tallest free standing tower in Iran and one of the tallest structures in the world is close to be finished in North of Tehran.  This structurally complex and very important monument will be used as an antena as well as attracting many people to provide a unique view of the Tehran city from the top.

The steel structure that exists on top of the tower is assembled in three stages and each of them is heavy lifted from the ground.  The steel structure is bolted together in a very careful manner to comply with the most recent world standards.

To adjust and calibrate the torque meters used to fasten the bolts in this structures, some low profile load cells were reqiured.  The low hight of the hydraulic load cells manufactured by this company was the best answer for this limited space problem.  Few load cells, 50 tones capacity were supplied to the client and in a few trips the engineers visited the site and provided hints to speed up the calibration processes with minimal time and effort.  The first stage of the steel structure is now lifted up and is put in its final place and the rest of the job is under completion.
