Borehole Extensometer is used to measure internal  movements of soil and rock masses. They are installed in boreholes drilled in rock masses and filled with cement annulus. Extensometers are manufactured in a variety of types in our factory each one designed for a particular application.

Applications

Convergence monitoring of the tunnel walls during and after construction.

Determining the size of unstable blocks in tunnels and slopes.

Measuring settlement or heave in excavations, foundations, dams, and embankments.

Monitoring subsidence at the ground level above mines, tunnels, and other underground openings.

Monitoring consolidation of soil under embankments.

Special Features

Small diameter eliminating special borehole diameter to b drilled.

One or more anchor points to attach to the borehole wall at specified locations .

Wide variety the number of anchors (1-14 points)

Low cost, so facilitating enough installations to complete the required information .

Small diameter of  the instrument enables installation inside boreholes as small as 54mm.

Enabling head recess into the borehole providing superior protection from fly rock and accidental collision with moving vehicles in the tunnel.

Flexible head design so that it can be electrical type from the beginning or electrical head to attaching to it later on (preventing the electrical parts from damaging by adjacent blasting).

Ease of installation as a complete unit.

To be coiled in small diameter (1.5 m) facilitatirs shipping and handling in narrow areas.
